What To Expect At Your Treatment
Every person coming to our clinic will have a customized treatment plan. The first step is to evaluate the condition of your facial skin and listen to your concerns and what you hope to achieve. We will make recommendations about dermal fillers from Juvéderm, and which product should be used for each target area.
Your face will be numbed with a topical cream, which requires about 10 to 15 minutes to work. Once the area is numbed, the treatment begins. A very fine needle is used to inject the product in the lines and creases, or to plump the lips. It will require about an hour to complete the treatment for most patients. The results are visible immediately.
After Juvéderm Treatment
The treatment is very non-invasive, so side effects are minor. You may have some bruising or swelling, but it should be minimal and easily covered with cosmetics. Avoid sun exposure until your face feels normal, without any visible bruises or swelling. We provide all our patients with aftercare instructions to help them experience the benefits as quickly as possible, which is typically the following day.
